About
Email Campaign Reports have been created to provide you with more visibility into how your broadcast and drip campaigns (referred to as Day X) are performing in your organization.
Email reports are split into two sections, the Email Report page, which provides a view of how your clubs email campaigns are performing in a single view. And, the Campaign Information page which will give a detailed view for a specific campaign.
How to access Email reports
- Log into Drive
- Select Email from the Reports toolbar
Don't have Email listed? Check your Permissions for Email report access. The setting for Reports > Email needs to be set to 'Can view club reports' for your permission level.
What am I seeing?
- The Email Report page is split into two sections. The top section shown below gives an overview of your email reporting over a given date range (the initial default shows 'Today')
- There are 4 subsections
- Delivery Rate - shows how many of the emails you sent were actually delivered as a percentage.
- Total Sent = this is the total number of emails that were sent out for delivery by the system
- Delivered = is how many of the total sent were successfully delivered to the recipient's email address
- Undelivered = is how many of the total sent failed to reach a recipient's email
- Open Rate - shows how many of the emails that were 'Delivered' were then 'Opened' expressed as a percentage.
- Unsubscribe = shows how many recipients are then asking to be unsubscribed from your emails
- Spam = shows how many recipients are marking your email as spam
- Undelivered Rate - shows how many emails failed to be delivered expressed as a percentage.
- Bounced = The number of emails that could not be delivered. Common reasons include invalid email addresses or the recipient's mailbox is full. NOTE: The system will attempt multiple deliveries to a bounced email address which can result in numbers larger than the initial 'Sent' KPI when summing KPIs.
- Dropped = The number of emails that were dropped. This happens where the recipient has previously bounced, unsubscribed or reported the email as spam. Emails are dropped in order to protect your sender reputation
- Blocked = The number of emails denied delivery by the receiver's email server. Common reasons include when the sender's email address, domain or IP address has been added to a blacklist or has been blocked by an ISP or messaging organization
- The 'Click Engagement' shows how many recipients have opened your emails and then how many have gone on to follow any links (often referred to as Call To Action or CTA's) you embedded in the email
- Delivery Rate - shows how many of the emails you sent were actually delivered as a percentage.
- The second half of the screen is dedicated to showing key stats for a campaign for the current date range selected
- The Campaign summary gives a precis of the overall health of the campaign
- Name = This is taken from the emails subject title
- Status = shows if the email campaign is active or inactive
- Created Date = shows the date when the campaign was created
- % Delivered = shows the percentage of how many emails were successfully delivered
- Opens = how many of those delivered emails were opened
- Clicks = how many times someone followed a link from the email
- Action = takes you through to the detailed breakdown of the KPI's for that campaign
- The campaigns listed will be those that have data associated with the current date range selected.
- You can also search for a specific campaign in the returned results using the 'Search Campaign' function
- The Campaign summary gives a precis of the overall health of the campaign
- Once you select to 'View' a specific campaign you will be taken to a dedicated screen that shows a complete breakdown of the KPI's of how it is performing
- You can hover over the KPI to see a tooltip about what the stat means
- The full list of stats and meanings can also be seen below:
- Total Sent = The total number of emails the system sent out
- Delivered = The number of emails the system was able to confirm were actually delivered to a recipient. (Total Sent less the number of Blocked and Bounced)
- Opened = The total number of unique times your emails were opened by recipients
- Unique Clicks = The total number of times your recipients clicked on various links within your emails
- Unsubscribe = The number of recipients who unsubscribed from your emails
- Blocked = The number of emails denied delivery by the receiver's email server. Common reasons include when the sender's email address, domain or IP address has been added to a blacklist or has been blocked by an ISP or messaging organization

NOTE: The system will attempt multiple deliveries to a bounced email address which can result in numbers larger than the initial 'Sent' KPI when summing KPIs.
- Spam =Number of recipients who marked your email as spam
- Dropped = The number of emails that were dropped. This happens where the recipient has previously bounced, unsubscribed or reported the email as spam. Emails are dropped in order to protect your sender reputation
- The screen will give you both the numerical information and shows the performance across a bar graph visually.
- On the right-hand side of the screen, you can select a KPI and it will then provide a list of all email addresses associated with that statistic
- You also have the ability to download the information as a CSV File
- Please note InTouch will only retain the detailed KPI data for a period of 60 days after which it will no longer be available. The summary information in the bar graphs is retained for 5 years.
- For the bounced, dropped and blocked stats the KPI will also return a 'Reason'.
