How do end-users consent to receive messages?
Note: All SMS consent wording below is hard coded within the InTouch software system by Sindro, Inc and cannot be edited by any client.
Items in [brackets] are merge fields that pull in the specific company's information. The InTouch software is a proprietary software system and not all pages can be accessed publicly. Software screenshots of sample data is below.
- End user can opt-in in person at the club using a kiosk module. The kiosk is a self-enroll process where user provides their mobile number and can select a radio button to receive text messages. When selected, user is required to double consent by selecting a checkbox with the wording: “I hereby consent to receive messages from or on behalf of [Club Name] at the preferred method indicated above. I understand that consent is not a condition of purchase. By opting in to text messages, I agree to receive occasional marketing and informational messages. Message frequency may vary, message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out."
Consent to the above page is required. SMS opt-in below is optional.
2. Contacts added into the InTouch software that are not from the kiosk are sent an opt-in request via text: “[Club Name] would like to send you occasional text messages. Reply START to agree or STOP to opt-out. Msg rates may apply.” Opt-in is required before the system will send any automated text messages.
